Andy Scott is New Youth team Manager + Details of Benefit Fund

Orient have appointed Andy Scott as the the new youth team manager on a one year contract replacing Dean Smith who is now the club's Assistant Manager.

Scott, who was forced to retire from playing at the end of last season, following a diagnosis of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (the condition which led to the death of Marc Vivien Foe) stated, "I'm pleased to be staying at Orient as it's well known that the treatment I've had from everyone here since my diagnosis has been superb."

A benefit fund for Andy has also been launched and details are available on www.andyscottbenefit.org.uk where messages and donations can also be left. Part of the donations received will be given to charity

A benefit match for Andy will also be held against Brentford at Griffin Park on 20 July.
