Somewhat unflatteringly, manager Ling is quoted on the Club's official website stating, "Charlie was a target of ours in the summer, but we felt Spurs valuation of him at that time (six figure fee) was unrealistic so we moved on. But once he became available again on a free transfer over the Christmas period we moved to sign him."
Daniels is seen as adding strength to the left hand side and will be given the number 25 shirt. He is available for the Leicester game on Saturday 10 January.
