Further blow to Orient

The Olympic Park Legacy Company dismissed the suggestion at a meeting on Thursday morning held at City Hall.

Baroness Ford, chair of the OPLC, was asked about Orient chairman Hearn's proposals to move the club to the Olympics Hockey Stadium once the Games has finished - and her response was not good news for the London club.

"Why would you put two football stadia in the Olympic Park in place of much-needed recreational and employment space?" she said.

Hearn is angry at the decision to allow West Ham to relocate to the Olympic Park and has threatened the Premier League with a judicial review.
