Orient youth goalkeeper, Paul Jones, has decided to make his loan at Exeter City permanent by signing a pre contract agreement with the Conference club and turning down the offer of a pro contract with the O's.

Jones will sign a three year contract offered to him by Exeter manager Alex Inglethorpe, and in return Orient will receive an undisclosed five figure sum plus 50% of any sell on fee.

Orient manager Martin Ling stated that he was happy with the deal and added, "Paul is a good prospect and I hope he does well for Exeter because it could prove profitable in the long run for us if he moves on again."
