Lee Thorpe Goes West

Out of favour striker Lee Thorpe who had his contract terminated, "by mutual consent," almost immediately after returning from Grimsby on loan, has just as swiftly made a move to Bristol Rovers.

Whilst Martin Ling wished him the "best of luck" his departure will not be mourned by many O's fans who had become despairing of Ling having to  substitute him to save him from being sent off.
