Transfer listed out of favour O's striker Lee Thorpe is expected to sign for the Mariners on a months loan and hopes to be able to play in the match against Bristol City.
Thorpe, who is reported to have "Jumped at the chance," will play alongside Michael Boulding in an attempt to improve Grimsby's waning goal scoring record.
