Leyton Orient V Bury at Matchroom Stadium - Match Preview

Orient sweating on Baudry

Leyton Orient will check on Mathieu Baudry ahead of the visit of Bury.

The defender has missed three matches, including Friday's 2-1 defeat at Scunthorpe, with a hip injury but is close to returning to action.

Baudry's return would be a welcome boost with fellow centre-half Scott Cuthbert last week ruled out for the rest of the season with a fractured metatarsal.

Right-back Elliot Omozusi had to deputise in the centre alongside captain Nathan Clarke at Scunthorpe.

Elsewhere, winger Lee Cook could return to the starting line-up after coming on as a substitute on Friday.

Veteran midfielder Martin Rowlands may drop to the bench after playing 75 minutes on his return from a groin niggle.

Bury boss Kevin Blackwell has no new injury worries.

The Shakers collected a potentially vital point in their battle against relegation on Good Friday as Andy Bishop's stoppage-time penalty pegged Crewe back for a 2-2 draw at Gigg Lane.

Tom Soares scored Bury's first equaliser and played 84 minutes on his return from a hamstring haematoma - a problem that initially looked set to keep the former Crystal Palace midfielder out for the season.

Northern Ireland international striker David Healy came off the bench to replace Soares for his fifth club appearance of 2013, none of which have been starts.

Long-term absentees Craig Jones (hamstring/thigh), Phil Picken (knee), Adam Lockwood (groin) and Shane Byrne (blood infection) will all miss the rest of the campaign.
