Leyton Orient will hand a late fitness test to defender Charlie Daniels who has a hamstring problem.
Andrew Frampton was brought in on loan to cover for Daniels but suffered an ankle injury during the 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield and misses out.
Notts County manager Craig Short told BBC Radio Nottingham: "Russell Slade [Leyton Orient boss] has been in management longer than me. He was coaching here [at Notts County] when I was a player and helped produce a very good youth side.
"I haven't seen him for years so it will be good to see him.
"He was very good coach, very enthusiastic. He will want to recover from two defeats and come back here and do well."
