Orient For Olympic Stadium?

Orient are considering a move to the new Olympic Stadium following the 2012 Olympics.

Given the decision to reduce the stadium from an 80,000 to a 25,000 capacity at the end of the games any possibility of Spurs or West Ham moving there has been ruled out leaving Leyton Orient as a prime contender. It is likely that the stadium would be shared use with Rugby Union and Athletics.

Chairman Barry Hearn has stated, "We are the only club interested as far as we aware and I am considering anything for the future sustainable benefit of Leyton Orient." He has also confirmed that he will press ahead with the current plans to complete the fourth side of Brisbane Road.
