O's Make Loan Signing

Martin Ling has signed left winger Dean Morgan on loan from Luton for an initial period of five months.

Morgan has been with Luton for three years scoring 12 goals from 101 appearances. Manager Ling told the Club's official website, "He is a player who comes here with a good reputation.........the reason he hasn't been playing for Luton is all to do with finances and nothing to do with ability.......he's here for five months and if he produces what we know he's capable of we hope to offer him something more permanent."

Orient fans may, however, be disappointed that the promised expenditure of the Nicky Shorey money has not yet produced a "name" player. A familiar story following the failure to invest the Zakuani cash.

Morgan comes with a slight injury and is unlikely to feature against Brighton on Saturday.
