Chairman Barry Hearn says that the average gate needs to double from 5,000 to 10,000 this season, and hopes to do so by getting fans from West Ham, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur into the Matchroom Stadium.

Hearn said: "We will have one match allocated to our poor Premiership friends at Arsenal, West Ham and Spurs when their supporters will be allowed in free on their season tickets.
"We have an average crowd of 5,000 and that is not enough. We need 10,000. In three years' time we will have a new stadium worth £25m and I would love to fill it."
