Partridge went on to play in the SPL for Motherwell for three seasons before transfering for £150,000 to Bristol City. Last season he made 30 League One appearances for both City and MK Dons (on loan).
Martin Ling states on the official web site, "It is an initial loan period but we could go from there because I still feel we need a centre half on a permanent basis."
