Roll Up Roll Up For The End of Season Sale

Last updated : 03 May 2009 By Martin Scott
The end of season sale has started early at Brisbane Road. One in three striker Adam Boyd has signed for home town club Hartlepool for a five figure fee, and strong rumours circulate that midfielder Adam Chambers is going to newly promoted Peterborough for a fee rumoured to be around the £160k mark.

Manager Geraint Williams has commenced the process of building his own squad now that he has signed a contract for next year (as well as saving money on the wage bill) so more leaver news can be expected very soon as he decides on the future of other players such as Granville, Gray, Jarvis, Thelwell, Melligan, Terry etc. Many are expected to leave and with loanee Church already back at Reading, and probably little possibility of securing another loan deal from West Ham for Spence, it looks like shades of two years ago when virtually a whole team left Brisbane Road.

An interesting summer lies ahead!
