These moves were fairly predictable with perhaps the only slight surprise being the departure of Jabo Ibehere after eight years service. Describing him as having been a "useful member of the squad," Ling went on to say that, "The timing is right for him and us to move move on."
Ling is now looking for replacements for all these players to bring the squad back up to 22 man strength. The wary amongst us will fear that, as last season, this is just too small a squad to maintain a serious challenge once injuries, suspensions etc. kick in.
