Slade- Were playing with confidence

Orient boosted their play-off hopes and extended their unbeaten run to 12 league games thanks to goals in either half from Harry Kane and substitute Jonathan Tehoue.

Slade said: "I thought we played well in pockets but were a bit sloppy at times and to be fair to Walsall they hit the woodwork twice when they could have got in front.

"But the thing is we are always capable of getting a goal and that was epitomised particularly by our play for the second goal.

"It was probably hard on Walsall because they battled really well and tried to stop us playing, but you could see the confidence of my side.

"We played some really good football at the start of the season when we were not getting results but we`ve stuck to our principles, we keep trying to play and we are getting better at it."
