We'll Peel Them With Our Steeley Knife

An early summer signing by Martin Ling sees Oxford United's Lee Steele sign for the Orient on a two year contract. Ex Brighton and Shrewsbury striker Steele has scored 57 goals in 156 starts in his league career but could not hold on to a regular first team slot at Oxford. It looks like he will be the main partner for Gary Alexander in the forthcoming season.

Steele is the second player to come in from Oxford - he joins Andy Scott who transferred towards the the end of last season.
