Both sides struggled to create chances in this dismal Third Division game that always looked likely to end goallless.

Such was the limits of Kidderminster's ambition, they failed to force a corner until stoppage time and their one shot on target arrived on 92 minutes when Orient keeper Rhys Evans tipped away Drewe Broughton's shot from 25 yards.

Harriers packed their midfield and Orient simply failed to find a way through.

Orient Manager Paul Brush made three changes following Saturday's defeat at Cambridge - but his side played with little flair or imagination.

It took Orient 20 minutes to carve out their first chance when Matthew Brazier's left-wing cross was met by Kevin Nugent at the far post but Harriers keeper Stuart Brock made an easy save.

The only two other notable efforts in the first half came when Carl Hutchings sent a 25-yard drive inches wide, while just before the break Matt Lockwood fired in a fierce free-kick that troubled Brock.

In the second half there were even fewer clear cut chances and Hutchings wasted the best one when he failed to hit the target with an effort from 12 yards.

As the game became abrasive there were a rash of bookings but as the game drifted towards its finale Harriers threatened to win it.

The dangerous Broughton had a shot blocked by Dave McGhee and then almost netted with his injury-time effort.

After the game Harriers boss Ian Britton was more happy with the result: "Considering the injury problems we have I think we played well and thoroughly deserved our point.

"The back three were outstanding and everyone did their job," he said.

But Orient boss Brush was not so happy: "I'm not going to tell you what was said inside the changing room, but we have got to play with more imagination and tempo than we did today, against a team who were happy to come for a 0-0 draw."
