Wycombe Wanderers went back to the summit of League Two as they smashed Leyton Orient's unbeaten away run with an impressive 4-2 victory at the Causeway Stadium.

The home side were out of the blocks like an Olympic sprinter, Kevin Betsy's shot was blocked, but the ball fell kindly for Charlie Grffin, who drilled in the shot from 20 yards with less than two minutes played.

Orient survived a penalty scare as keeper Glyn Garner challenged Matt Bloomfield before the visitors drew level on 21 minutes.

The lively Shane Tudor hit an effort across Frank Talia which the Aussie could only palm out, and ex-Brighton hitman Lee Steele was left with a simple tap-in.

Just 60 seconds later the hosts regained their advantage as Gabriel Zakauni headed a cross from the impressive Stefan Oakes past his own keeper Garner.

The second half started brilliantly for the Chairboys with two goals in the first ten minutes to seal the points.

On 50 minutes a lovely move involving Tommy Mooney, Betsy and finally Griffin, saw the ball played into the path of Bloomfield, who finished with aplomb past the exposed Garner from the edge of the area.

It got better for the home side just four minutes later as Oakes rifled in a swerving 35-yard free-kick which left Garner rooted to the spot.

The O's showed they were prepared to the fight to the death as a spell of pressure was rewarded with their second goal.

A brilliant reaction save from Talia from sub Jabo Ibehre saw the ball come out to Tudor, who clinically buried the ball high into the net.
